The Third Position, summarized.
I wrote this on a Wednesday just to start things off, but I intend to write only on Saturdays.
Recently, a lot of people on the Right have been becoming increasingly disenfranchised with mainstream conservatism. Think Trump, Rogan, Shapiro, Peterson and others as our ‘moderate conservatives’. Of course, the Left wouldn’t agree with that, we are all fascists in their book, but from the Right, however, we’ve begun to observe increased dissidence on the political wing. The rise of the dissident Right and characters such as Nicholas Fuentes have contributed to an increase in radicalization among normal people. We can define this radicalization as being the result of perceived ineffectiveness and betrayal from mainstream conservatism. Thus, people look further Right, and begin to identify themselves with an ideology known as the Third Position. The intent of this essay is to emphasize the failures of conservatism, while highlighting how the Third Position will provide success.
First, we must clearly define what is ‘Conservatism’, and what is ‘the Third Position’. Conservatism is largely the main political force acting against the liberal hegemony, promoting an opposition to sexual ideologies, to illegal immigration and to globalism, placing more of a focus on opposition to the liberal world and ideology rather than tangible unifying factors which Third Positionists hold, such as nation, race or religion. Conservatives are your typical ‘own the libs’ type. Mostly of the older generation, and quite moderate. They oppose the societal shift leftwards in, say, the last 20 years, but are quite adamant to defend the societal shift leftwards in the last 200. Today’s conservatives can be defined as yesterday’s liberals. As for their policies, do conservatives succeed with the right-wing voters on this case?
Let us examine Poland. The mainstream conservative party, Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice, or PiS) ran on a program of opposition to Brussels, to the LGBT ideology and to illegal immigration. There were successes in ignoring the EU’s demands, but ultimately Poland could not leave, LGBT not only failed to be supressed but continued to grow in Polish cities and the government sold 350,000 visas to illegal migrants in Africa and Asia. All in all, their governance was a failure for the Right, despite their praise from American conservatives. We can apply this to almost every conservative movement in the West - verbal opposition as long as they can afford it, silence when they cannot, thus, a further radical thought is required.
This would be the Third Position. The Third Position is exactly what it says on the tin. A third position, a third point of viewing things from the perceived false dichotomy of capitalism and socialism, and attempting to strike a synthesis from the conflict. The Third Position rejects what it believes as an eternal class conflict from both ideologies, persistent throughout history. It believes that capitalism will always result in an oligarchy, where a clique of rich men can dictate to the government and to the people, forming conflict from the upper class against the lower classes. This much is true, as we are seeing today. The existence of lobbying and political office being pretty much gated off to anyone who was not born to perfect wealth or perfect conditions to obtain wealth forms an ironclad association of rich oligarchs with no regard for their community or people - if they even belong to said people in the first place. Conversely, socialism promotes an endless war against an upper class, where any semblance of the bourgeoisie has to be eliminated at all costs. Because society historically has and must always result in a form of hierarchy, even socialist/communist states, the war does not end, it will continue until the collapse of the state, or until it morphs into a capitalist state by the will of the hierarchy.
Capitalism and socialism have two unifying factors: Class conflict and materialism. Both the bourgeoisie resulting from capitalism, and the proletariat reinvograted through socialism seek one goal in mind. Better material conditions for their class. Anything, be it religion, morals, culture or race can be removed so long as it is a step in the journey of eliminating the class enemies and attaining these better material conditions.
The Third Position rejects both for these reasons, and advocates for corporatism. Corporatism is mistakenly associated with corporatocracy, the rule of corporations. This is a gross mistake, the two are not related at all. Corporatism is the unification of the classes, an alliance between employer and worker, and a fundamental tenet of the Third Position. The State is seen as a body, an entity which needs all parts, both worker and owner, to cooperate to maintain the body’s health, as a liver must cooperate with the intestines to sustain the human body. So is the same for the National Body. Should these parts begin conflict with one another, the body dies. So, how would a Third Positionist economy function? A system where private property and enterprise exist, but exist for the betterment of the Nation, rather than for the Self, as is under capitalism. The Third Position inherently opposes this materialism as we stated earlier, and instead emphasizes the need for class collaboration, for a collectivist unity where all members of the Nation must work in harmony to benefit the Nation, and an inherent spiritualism, rejecting the evil of this materialist greed. A worker may wish for better pay from his employer, made possible by hypothetical workers’ guilds. Should there be a disagreement between worker and employer, the State intervenes as an intermediary to resolve issues and restore good relations between the two. We Third Positionists possess a fundamental meritocratic belief, that those who work hard should attain a higher place in society, and that those who possess the capabilities of ruling should be able to rule, which sets us apart from traditionalist monarchists and aristocrats, who believe in a divine right to their circumstances.
Conservatism differs from this, because it does not seek the same end goal. The same end goal of conservatism is to conserve, not to achieve an overall improvement of the community. The conservative wishes to conserve his wealth, conserve the previous status quo, and conserve the ideology above all else. This is ultimately where conservatism fails. The leftist takes an inch, the conservative conserves what remains. That is why that with every tyrannical or evil law passed by government, the conservative does not revolt or lash out the way the Left does. One failed attempted storming of a Capitol is all that mainstream conservatism has to its name, and even the majority of they can be considered radical right.
“The Democrats are the real racists” - Some Conservative on Facebook or Twitter, probably.
The Third Position builds upon the foundation of a spiritual unity of the nation, based on shared common ground such as blood, faith and race, superseding the material aspirations of a conservative. Thus, we must be unwavering in that right to a nation, and defend it with our lives.
The Conservative, adamant in his will to conserve, wishes to conserve parliamentary democracy, an ideology which many of us on the Right can agree has failed. Why? Because the Conservative is often not the intellectual thinker, and believes only in bringing back what happened 20 years ago. Should 20 years pass, and the Left spews out another crackpot ‘liberation movement’, the Conservative of the 2040s will wish to a return to this society.
“The Neo-Marxists are the real transphobes” - Some Conservative on X during Pride Decade in 2043, probably.
The Third Position pulls no punches. We vehemently oppose parliamentary democracy and democracy as a whole. We believe that it is not ‘freedom’ to have a slice of the electoral pie, not ‘liberty’ to choose for one puppet or the other, and certainly not beneficial.
We advocate, as stated earlier, for a meritocratic autocracy, where those fit to rule should be able to, and should not have to beg to an uneducated mass about whether or not they should rule.
The Third Position prioritizes the Nation, and thus the race and religion associated. As a result, immigration, and especially the torrent of culturally foreign individuals who do not naturalize nor do they assimilate, must be entirely erased from any political conception which seeks to utilize the tenets of the Third Position.
Conservatives could not care less for the right for the People of the Nation to rule themselves. As long as they too are conservatives, anyone from anywhere is fit to control the State. They care not for any spirituality, any sense of a shared bond with their community, but only their desire to conserve. This is why they only discuss ‘illegal immigration’, and not immigration as a whole. To them, immigration is fine, as long as it’s legal. As long as it’s legal, the replacement doesn’t matter.
The Third Position doesn’t compromise. The Conservative plays on the Leftist’s chessboard at a disadvantage. He is terrified of being called racist, or homophobic, or any other buzzword, because his morals and beliefs are paper thin and based on the desire to conserve material wealth. The Third Positionist sees and recognizes the Replacement for what it is: a replacement of his Nation.
And thus, we Third Positionists must be willing to fight to defend our countries, as the iron boot of occupation descends upon us. We, the true nationalists, are surrounded by vultures seeking to feed on Europe’s decaying corpse. The Conservatives are still rooting for the corpse. The Third Position requires a rebirth from the ashes of the old world, from the shackles of oligarchic capitalism and a corrupt democracy, from a Replacement greater a threat than anything Europe has seen and from the individualistic materialism that we are accustomed to.
To summarize, conservatism is a failed ideology that has proven inadequate and inefficient, weak and pacifistic to a torrent of an angry, unrelenting Left which seeks to impose its ideology upon us. The Third Position provides the axe to chop the tree, it is beyond a political and economic conception, but a perspective on history and society itself. We implore to the nationalists of Europe to reject the false dichotomy and embrace the Third Position.
